What is RideMyRoot, and how can it help me?

RideMyRoot is a travel and biking app designed to help you plan custom routes, create trips, and connect with fellow riders and travel enthusiasts. It’s the perfect platform for exploring new destinations and sharing your experiences.

You can easily sign up with your email or mobile number. We use OTP verification to ensure a secure registration process.

Not available right now—RideMyRoot is currently under development! Once launched, it will be available as a mobile app for both Android and iOS, enabling you to plan and track your trips effortlessly on the go.

What is the RideMyRoot Medical ID?

The RideMyRoot Medical ID is a free sticker provided to all registered users, allowing them to securely share their essential medical information with first responders in case of emergencies. The sticker features a QR code that links to your Medical ID profile.

Yes, you can disable your Medical ID for privacy when not riding:

  • Log in to your RideMyRoot account.

  • Go to the Settings > Medical ID Tag section.

  • Toggle the Enable/Disable Medical ID Tag option.

  • Reactivate it anytime before your next ride.

You can add multiple emergency contacts to your Medical ID. However, you must assign one contact as the Primary Emergency Contact, which will be prioritized in case of emergencies.

You can store:

  • Medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma).

  • Allergies (e.g., to medications or foods).

  • Blood type.

  • Current medications.

  • Emergency contacts.

To update your details:

  • Log in to your RideMyRoot account.

  • Go to the Setting > Emergency section.

  • Edit your medical or Insurance or emergency contact information.

  • Save changes to keep your profile updated.

If your sticker is lost or damaged, first you need to disable from application or call to support team to disable it and reorder a new Medical ID Tag. The replacement tag will be free, but you will need to pay the shipping charges. Once you activate the new tag, the old tag will be disabled permanently.

Yes, your Medical ID information is encrypted and securely stored. Access to your profile is restricted to authorized individuals using the unique code on your Medical Tag or the QR code printed on your sticker, ensuring only first responders or those with permission can view it.

Currently, the RideMyRoot Medical ID is optimized for use within India. However, it will work from anywhere in the world as long as the QR code is scanned.

Yes, it requires an internet connection to access or update the information linked to your Medical ID.

Anyone who scans the QR code after successfull authetication by code which is written on Medical ID Tag will be able to view the information you have shared via your Medical ID.

Yes, the Medical ID sticker is free for all registered users of RideMyRoot as part of their first registration, which includes the first-year Medical ID Tag subscription. From the following year, users will need to pay Rs. 197 for the yearly subscription of the Medical ID Tag. Only one tag can be active at a time. If you encounter any issues with your tag, you can contact Support to request a new one. Replacement tags are free, but shipping charges will apply.

No, you cannot delete your Medical ID. However, you can disable it through the RideMyRoot app or website for privacy.

No, the Medical ID Tag subscription is different from the Application subscription. The Application subscription is primarily for creating trips, communities, and managing vehicles, and users can choose to pay on a monthly or yearly basis. On the other hand, the Medical ID Tag subscription is specifically for the Medical ID Tag service and is a yearly subscription.

Can I plan my own trip routes?

Yes! RideMyRoot allows you to create and customize your own routes, mark waypoints, and save your plans for future use. You can also share your routes with the community or keep them private.

You can join communities, chat with fellow travelers, and share routes and experiences. The app’s built-in messaging feature allows you to connect with like-minded riders and plan trips together.

RideMyRoot currently focuses on route planning and sharing. While we don’t provide real-time navigation within the app, you can download and follow your saved routes using external navigation apps.

Is RideMyRoot free, or do I need to pay?

RideMyRoot offers both free and paid subscription plans. The free plan provides basic features, while premium plans give you access to advanced tools such as detailed route analytics and premium communities.

Payments are securely processed via Razorpay, which supports multiple payment methods, including UPI, debit/credit cards, and net banking.

Do I get any free products when I register?

Currently, we only ship physical products within India. However, downloadable guides and resources are available for international users.
